Things that could have gone better
- Less sugar! Don't start the day with an energy drink. Working a whole day on a project is tiring af.
- Have more things to drink at hand! At least 5 bottles...
- Prepare your programms beforehand and check if everything works (had to install VS aswell, because Auto-Completion in VS-Code didn't work anymore)
- Don't bite off, what you can't chew. Leave the details and polishing to the end. Had a close call to the deadline, because I polished too early and missed making the actual gameplay.
- Make sure you know how to submit your project correctly! Itch wouldn't let me select a folder and so I just assumed, that I uploaded the project. >.<
Other than that everything went fine :)
What went specifically well?
- Still remembered what the used engines could do, even though I haven't done anything in them for almost a year now. Practising pays of in the long run, even if you take breaks :)
- Integrating the new Input System in Unity for Controller steering. Love that feature and how it's implemented. Had to do it the old way in my last project and it feels so much easier with that package. Still took me 6 hours to get what I wanted xD
- Long sleep time! Damn, I was relaxed this jam. Almost had 17 hours of sleep. Given that, I'm really proud of what I achieved in the remaining 31 hours.
